Speakout
(Opinion ~ 12/20/23)
I see so much negativity in the Speakout comments. Some of you need to realize and pray to have better days ahead. I pray to God daily and ask him to reach out and guide and protect my family that I have left. I try to appreciate what I have and still work full-time. I have lost a child and experienced the worst that anybody could ever experience. To get a phone call that your child does not have a pulse is the worse news anyone can get. Some of you whose daughter did not make cheer captain or whose son wasn’t prom king need to appreciate that they are still here with you and love them and your neighbors as they are. Just appreciate what you have and quit being greedy. Accept God as your Savior and thank him for what you have! I would love to have my child here and know she tried to make cheer team or went to prom but instead know she is in heaven where eventually I will see her again. Remember to treat your neighbor as you want to be treated. Also appreciate what you have. If I could see my daughter walk through my door again, I couldn’t tell you how much I would love it. I would never let her go.
