After driving by the local Republican headquarters on South Kingshighway in Sikeston, I noticed that the only campaign sign posted for their party was for Trump. I guess I now know where the Sikeston’s Republican Party’s head is being kept.

My sister and I were recently at My Daddy’s Cheesecake in order to plan a bridal shower. It was fun picking out the sandwiches and especially the desserts. What stumped us was how much of each item to order. We were raised by a mother, grandmothers and aunts who all lived by the same mantra: “It is better to have too much than too little.” After ordering, I made a comment to my sister that we should have containers in our cars just in case there are leftovers. ...
