Community being asked to ‘stand in the gap’

The Sikeston community is being asked to “stand in the gap” for children and youth of the area. A Community Regional Prayer Service is planned for 5 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the North Field of the YMCA in Sikeston.

SIKESTON — Donald R. “Donnie” McClain, age 74, formerly of Charleston, Missouri, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at his home in Sikeston. Born April 19, 1948, in Charleston, to the late J.C. McClain and Earline Delk McClain, he grew up in the Bridges Community of Mississippi County and was a graduate of Kelly High School at Benton, Missouri.
