BENTON, Mo. -- A Charleston man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly stealing a firearm and assaulting someone.
Marquelis Jamal Andrews, 20, is charged with felony unlawful possession of a firearm; felony stealing of a firearm/explosive weapon/ammonium nitrate; felony resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony; felony third-degree assault of a special victim; misdemeanor second-degree property damage; and misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less occurring on or around Sunday, according to online court records.
Bond is set at $50,000 cash only, and as of Tuesday, he remained in the Scott County Jail. He was also scheduled to appear Tuesday in Scott County Court.
